About the Project (Updated)

Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da…

Once upon a time, this blog was designed to get me dates. In its next incarnation, I kept my flirting skills honed by flirting with life for thirty weeks. (Check out some of those posts if you get the chance- it was big fun to reach those goals.) NOW, I present to you… (insert fanfare)… ANOTHER BLOG FOCUS!!!  It was bound to happen. Since the first two foci (Yes, that’s right. Foci.) were pretty “me” oriented, I wanted to swing the pendulum in the other direction and focus outwardly. Flirting with… opportunities. There are so many people out there doing so many positive things with their lives- and I’d like to be one of them. I’m hoping to recognize both the opportunities available to do good and the people who are making good things happen. I’d also love your input. If your service organization could use some volunteers or if you know of someone who’s making a positive difference in the lives of others, please let me know.

Bring on phase three!

This is a GREAT idea! I’m not sure i can refer too many (since i’m still back in MD) but I’ll wish you lots of luck and pray that you don’t stumble upon any of those scary situations! I’ll be following!

  2. YaY!! The legacy continues!! I can’t decide what will be more fun, going on the dates or reading about them!! Good luck! I hope you have as much fun as I did! And that you meet someone REAL great…it’s lots of fun! 🙂 🙂

  3. Carrie this is awesome. Now that I only date my husband, that I love, I enjoy living the single life again thru you. It is almost like reading a good book. A book that will have a happily ever after. Good luck, sorry I don’t have anyone to set you up with.

Happy Birthday! I’m glad you decided to continue the project. A few of my friends and I have been following you here in Atlanta. We all wish we had done this when we were single, so now we’re living vicariously through you. Good luck!

  6. That’s very noble of you to shift the focus towards others. I’m sure this will lead to the original goal of the blog. I’m anxious to continue reading about your latest adventures!
